Kevin Francis Johnson (b. July 5, 1955) is a high school soccer coach for Kingwood High School in Kingwood, Texas. On February 1, 2010, his record was 460-112-62.[1]
Kevin was born and raised in Batavia, New York, a suburb of Buffalo, New York. He graduated from Notre Dame High School in 1973. He studied at Genesee CC and at Slippery Rock University before eventually transferring to SUNY Brockport where he earned his B.A. in Physical Education in 1978.
In 1995 he won the UIL Texas State title with the lady mustangs soccer program with an astonishing 29-0 record. With the men's program he is a 3-time state finalist and a 2-time state semi finalist.
Kevin met Sylvia Mireles in 1979. They were married in 1980 (d.2002) Together they had two children Jennifer Lynn (b. Nov 20, 1980) and Mark Mckinsey (b. March 16, 1984). His son along with his wife gave birth to a boy Liam Mckinsey (b. May 31, 2007), Kevin's first grandchild.
